Rhiannon is an award-winning singing teacher (Wales’ Singing Instructor of the Year 2025/26) with over 17 years classical training.
She holds a First Class Honours degree in Vocal and Operatic Studies from one of the UK’s top music conservatoires, The Royal Northern College of Music. Â
Rhiannon furthered her studies in Italy at Conservatorio Rossini, with Pavarotti’s vocal coach Maestro Ubaldo Fabbri. Â
She then trained at Wales International Academy of Voice.
Rhiannon believes that the classical method offers a safe, healthy and flexible foundation, which can then be tweaked depending on the singer’s long term goals.
Rhiannon tends to teach students ages 12+. Â
Over the years she has found that that – alongside a progression into more proficient vocalists and musicians – students have benefitted from:
- Connecting body and mind, tapping into the body’s primal wisdom for better quality breathing, vocalising, posture and sense of wellbeing
- The growth of inner confidence, as trust in the voice developsÂ
- Enhanced social skills
- Easier connection with innate creativity and body intuitionÂ
- A promoted sense of agency
Rhiannon’s philosophy is to achieve vocal mastery by building a relationship with the voice, Â rather than aiming to conquer and control singing.
